Sportsboat & RIB Show 2008
The 5th annual Southampton Sports Boat & RIB Show took place over the May Bank Holiday weekend, 3rd-5th at Hamble Point Marina.

Following last year's sell-out show this year's event was a FREE ENTRY to all visitors and was doubled in size! The show lived up to its promise of non-stop entertainment, attractions for adults and children alike, exhibits, competitions and demonstrations as well as a huge range of sports boats and RIBs on display.

Hockley Marine exhibited an extensive Capelli boats range from the renown Italian boat builder responsible for the craft in the Rubson RIB Raid. Revenger, with an impeccable reputation for offshore racing having picked up numerous championships over the last 28 years, brought along their latest 29ft sports rib. 'Cookee' the holder of several national speed records also brought along his uniquely named rib, BananaShark.

The Thundercat race boats showed off their skills. And now that SB&RIB has entered a team in the Thundercat National Championships, there was some talk of them eventually getting out on the water. No promises there then!
