The 2006 London International Boat Show saw the official UK launch of the latest Marlin 29 Open Rib. Designed and manufactured in Italy, Marlin ribs are very sea-worthy having over-sized tubes and a water ballast system which improves stability whilst stationary.

This new boat was a real “head-turner”. Well engineered, and voluminous, with plenty of stowage space for skis and gear – ideal for serious cruising, cross channel hops or just family fun in the sun.

The Marlin 29 Open Rib is an inboard version with a choice of diesel or petrol engines, single or twin. It has a heads and basin option cleverly concealed in the consul which lifts up. There are two large sunbathing areas, one forward and one aft, with a swimming platform and fitted fresh water shower. A table, sun awnings, cushions, transport cover, mooring cover and navigation lights are included. This boat can be towed and can carry up to 18 passengers.
